Description
The position was mainly established to support the needs of ASSO group in offshore equipment manufacturing. The main purpose of the job is the Engineering designs of electrical installation regarding the subsea equipment of the group. Part of the responsibilities will also be to follow up on the internal projects of the team so as to reassure that they are delivered on time. Responsibilities Electrical (LV/MV) and Automation designs. Design of the electrical works for the project’s installation (MV Substations /Drives / Transformers /Networks/ Electrical Panels / Security System); Ordering of electrical equipment material Communication with suppliers and external partners Project management of electrical works (Electrical Panel construction, Wiring etc) Sets up and tests units to meet specified requirements Keeps supervisor updated for any unresolved and/or potential problems that would negatively affect production schedules Maintains adequate inventories of electrical spare parts and requisitions replacements as required Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field 3-5 years working experience as Electrical Engineer Good knowledge, clear understanding and familiarity with Medium and Low Voltage Power Systems Able to carry out Electrical Engineering Studies, Design (Using EPLAN) and basic Project Management Excellent understanding of electrical and automation drawings Hands on experience with electrical and network applications Clear understanding of health and safety procedures Experience using basic tools and instruments (multimeter, hand tools etc) Very good knowledge of MS-Office Very good knowledge of design software (EPLAN or similar) Fluent in Greek and English (oral and written) Professional experience in Medium Voltage Systems will be appreciated Experience and/or basic understanding of PLCs will be appreciated Professional experience in Maritime Industry will be appreciated but is not required Working experience in subsea equipment technology is a plus but is not required Working experience in Variable Frequency Drives and SINAMICS STARTER technology is a plus but is not required Τravel outside and inside Greece, onshore and offshore in line with business needs Private Health Insurance Company Bus from central spots Fast-paced environment Specialization in a niche market Competitive compensation Continuous development opportunities This job description is intended to convey information essential to understand the scope of the job and the general nature and level of work performed by job holders within this job.
