Job Description Join us a Electrical Engineer 📝 Contract/Staff Position Your Future Team: The Electrical Engineer will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team within the Approving Authority, the primary purpose of the role is to directly support current operations and future programmes. Supporting nuclear facilities & the delivery of services across both Client Sites near Helensburgh. Your Missions 📄 Manage Infrastructure Design Substantiation documents. 🔄 Handle design changes/concessions. 📊 Present Design substantiations to safety committees. 📅 Develop EIMT Schedule, procedures, and results. 📝 Produce Periodic Review of Safety reports. 🗣️ Advise internal and external stakeholders. 🕵️‍♂️ Conduct Independent Technical Review. 🛠️ Apply engineering knowledge to nuclear/high-risk environments. 🏗️ Justify civil/structural design modifications. 🔍 Review reports and safety submissions. 📝 Check and review calculations and technical documents. Qualifications 📐Experience in the design assessment of electrical installations in a HV or LV environment ⚡ Theoretical and practical skills across concept, detailed design, and construction stages for electrical engineering projects. 🏗️ Experience in assessing electrical plant and equipment for hazards. 💡 📝 Authoring technical justifications for electrical design modifications in high hazard industries. 🤝 Experience in multi-discipline projects providing electrical engineering input. 🌡️ Experienced in regulated environments. 🛠️ Familiarity with safety case development techniques like HAZID/HAZOP studies. 💼 Worked in the UK nuclear industry (energy or defense), especially in safety-related structures, systems, and components.
