Our Industrial group of professional services and consulting specialists have demonstrated their ongoing commitment to delivering innovation, sustainability, solution excellence and successful project outcomes for our clients globally. As a result, we are seeking an Electrical Engineer to partner with our clients in delivering technical solutions to solve their business problems. 

 

This position will be based out of our Melbourne office

 

You will have an electrical degree with technical design and project management experience, undertaking projects for and on heavy industrial sites as well as Food and Lifesciences, and water sites with a passion for developing and building networks and client relationships. Our Industrial work gives us the opportunity to work on exciting projects throughout Australia. 

 

You will be highly organised with effective communication skills and the ability to work within a larger project team to develop good engineering outcomes for the business and our clients. 

 

Your experience will also include: 

  • Work across various medium voltage electrical systems and equipment for Reticulation, Instrumentation and control system applications. 
  • Design and development of complete electrical systems, including single-line diagrams; motor starter drawings; electrical layouts; instrument loop diagrams; cable schedules; PLC I/O schedules to name a few. 
  • Prior experience and exposure to engineering software including but not limited to AutoCAD, ACC, SKM Power Tools, PowerCAD. 
  • Project Management, procurement, and commissioning for existing and greenfield systems. 
  • Scope/requirements definition and procurement of equipment, software, and installation work. 
  • Detailed design contractual report writing & Construction related services. 
  • Learning client’s processes to gain an understanding of our client’s business across a wide range of industries 
  • Build strong customer relationships, and demonstrate your ability to understand our client's core business and  ensure that services meet their expectations  
  • Demonstrate your ability and passion for providing technical advice and project management capabilities while  embracing a culture that values teamwork. 
  • Provide implementation phase support, including contractor supervision, progress monitoring, schedule reviews, contract management, minor procurement assistance, and expediting 
  • Previous site experience will be well-regarded
