ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Deliver property maintenance services in line with all group standards, key performance indicators and targets ensuring high standards are consistently met together with observing all legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • City & Guilds Level 3 2365/2357 or equivalent (essential)

18th Edition (BS:7671:2008) (essential)

  • AM1 and AM2 (essential)
  • City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection & Testing
  • IPAF / PASMA (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong electrical maintenance, fault-finding and installation background
  • Familiar with CAFM handheld devices
  • Facilities Management / Building Services experience an advantage
  • Multi-skilled and eager to learn across disciplines

  • Take part in departmental meetings and toolbox talks.
  • Perform other duties consistent with your skills and role requirements.

As a Commercial Electrical Engineer with Bellrock, you’ll do this by:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across your area, using your skills as allocated by the Scheduler or managers.
  • Responding promptly to electrical faults, diagnosing and repairing as needed.
  • Installing, maintaining and testing electrical systems and equipment to the highest standards.
  • Managing van stock and ensuring availability of required parts.
  • Attending emergency repairs and participating in out-of-hours call-outs when necessary.
  • Taking measurements, estimating labour and identifying materials for follow-on works via the red reporting system.
  • Maintaining accurate records of completed tasks and required follow-ups.
  • Working collaboratively with other trades to support wider maintenance needs
