• Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems for plastic processing equipment (e.g., extruders, injection molders, blow molders).
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in machinery, including PLCs, VFDs, servo motors, transducers, and control panels.
• Collaborate with mechanical and process engineers to integrate electrical systems into manufacturing workflows.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Support automation and control system upgrades to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Maintain accurate documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance logs.
• Lead or assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Analyze data to identify trends and recommend preventive maintenance strategies.
• Organize visits and communication with outside vendors.
• Lead electrical safety initiatives.
