Responsibilities / Requirements * Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university * Licensed Professional Engineer registration required * Committed to continuing education and self-development * Knowledgeable in designing low voltage and medium voltage electrical power systems * Knowledgeable of NEC, NESC, NFPA, API, NEMA, IEEE/ANSI etc. * Proficient with Electrical Engineering software such as ETAP and SKM * Ability to identify and define design deficiencies and provide solutions through clear and precise communication. * Able to estimate future potential projects * Successfully lead a project I&E team in the execution of a project by delivering quality IFC documents and maintaining budget & schedule. * Possess professional presence and able to work with clients and vendors to resolve issues * Successful working in a multi-discipline team environment and can work on multiple fast paced projects * Create an execution strategy based on the Scope of Work & Design Basis. * Maintain client relations by going to site visits, PHA/HAZOP reviews, 30%/60%/90% model reviews, Design Reviews, and Kick-off Meetings. * Ability to be a self-starter that requires minimal help to execute a project * Proficient with Electrical Engineering software such as ETAP and SKM * Able to work with the appropriate level of supervision and accept a high degree of personal responsibility for results. * Serve as technical resource to Engineers, Designers, and other departments. Preferred Experience * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering * 15 years minimum Electrical experience in Utility, Oil & Gas and petrochemical industry * Ability to manage time efficiently across multiple projects. * Experience in Power System modeling software like SKM and ETAP * Knowledge of Protections relays: SEL, GE Multilin * Knowledge of relevant Electrical Codes and Standards including but not limited to NEC, NESC, NFPA, API, NEMA, IEEE/ANSI etc. * Independently determine methods and processes * Self-motivated PE License and NCEES record

Responsibilities

The Electrical Engineer will lead project I&E teams to execute designs while maintaining budgets, schedules, and quality standards. They will also serve as a technical resource, manage client relations through site visits and reviews, and develop execution strategies.
