ELECTRICAL ENGINEER – CHEMICAL PLANT

  • Location: Jurong Island, Singapore (Company Transport Provided)
  • Salary: S$3,500 – S$4,500/month (commensurate with experience)
  • Employment: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a chemical plant environment
  • Strong understanding of chemical processes and ESH regulations
  • Proficient in computer applications and data analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-disciplined, resourceful, and strategic in planning

  • Oversee scheduled maintenance and respond to urgent electrical issues
  • Develop and refine SOPs to improve energy efficiency and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards across all electrical systems
  • Manage preventive maintenance, including annual substation shutdowns
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues, manage inventory, and support risk assessments
  • Supervise contractors, negotiate service proposals, and monitor project execution
  • Manage project budgets and optimize raw material expenditure
  • Evaluate vendor contracts and conduct performance audits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements
