About the Role We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team at our Brisbane office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of multi-disciplinary projects, including those related to battery minerals and plant optimisation. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. * Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience as an Engineer in Australia. * Experience in heavy industry electrical and instrumentation design, including reviewing and marking up technical drawings and providing construction and commissioning support. * Ability to prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, electrical and instrumentation design specifications, detailed designs, and work packs/scopes of work. * Site experience in investigations, scoping, commissioning, and contractor management. * Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required for this position to communicate effectively with other discipline engineers, electricians, and stakeholders. * Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards.  * Expertise in the design and specification of electrical and instrumentation equipment for hazardous areas. * Experience conducting early-stage studies for electrical and instrumentation systems, including proficiency in electrical system calculations. Desirable but not essential: * Knowledge and experience working with heavy industry clients in the minerals processing. * Working towards becoming a Registered/Chartered Engineer status, preferable. * Knowledge of control systems design. * Experience in a multi-disciplinary consultancy setting. * Familiarity with process safety and machine safety. * Experience with studies and (FEED).  * Proficiency in workshop facilitation (HAZOP). * Project management skills.
