JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a nationwide role, predominantly based on the road, so candidates must be willing and able to work away from home for extended periods. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering, with expertise in system design and a passion for developing cutting-edge solutions. You will work on a variety of projects across the UK, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and applying your technical knowledge to solve complex engineering challenges.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient in SoC (System on Chip) design principles.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages including Python, C++, and Perl.
  • Experience with CAD software for creating detailed designs and layouts.
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks for mechanical design integration.
  • Ability to conduct effective root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit design and analysis.
  • Experience with debugging techniques for both hardware and software components.
  • Knowledge of ARM architecture for embedded systems development.
  • Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT) assembly processes.
  • Must be willing and able to travel nationwide and spend most of the time working away from home.
