Primary Roles and Responsibilities Provide hands-on technical leadership within the eGaming production environment, supporting the manufacturing, assembly, and testing of electronic gaming equipment. Support daily production operations by troubleshooting electrical and electronic issues across gaming hardware, circuit boards, and integrated systems. Serve as a technical resource to production teams, helping diagnose failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. Work closely with engineering, quality, and production leadership to improve product reliability, manufacturability, and production efficiency. Review electrical schematics, diagrams, and documentation to support production builds and issue resolution. Assist with new product introductions (NPI), ensuring designs are manufacturable and production teams are properly trained on new systems. Monitor production processes and recommend improvements related to electrical components, testing procedures, and assembly workflows. Lead and support small teams of technicians and production staff to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, and service to resolve technical production issues. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment. Assist with testing procedures, diagnostics, and validation of gaming equipment prior to release. Other duties as assigned by management. Requirements Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related electrical discipline required (examples include Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar four-year engineering programs). 3+ years of experience working in an electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or electronics production environment. Experience supporting electronics manufacturing, PCB-based products, or hardware systems in a production or manufacturing setting preferred. Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Experience troubleshooting electronic systems, circuit boards, power systems, and integrated hardware components. Understanding of manufacturing processes, product testing, and quality standards within an electronics or hardware environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues. Ability to work cross-functionally with production teams, engineers, and technicians. Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-engineering personnel. Proficiency in standard software tools including Microsoft Office. Preferred Experience in electronic gaming devices, amusement devices, vending machines, or kiosk-style hardware systems. Experience working in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments. Familiarity with manufacturing test processes, failure analysis, and root cause investigation. Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a production or manufacturing environment. Experience working with embedded systems, power electronics, or hardware integration. Working Conditions Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing and production environment. Position requires time on the production floor supporting assembly, testing, and troubleshooting activities. May involve lifting equipment, working with electronics, and supporting production builds. Occasional extended hours may be required to support production schedules or product launches.
