Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company is seeking an Electrical Engineer EIT who will be responsible for assisting in the design, engineering, analysis, equipment selection, and system layout of electrical systems for multi-discipline building design projects for commercial, higher education and government facilities of moderate to large scope.  Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification. Compensation for this position is $81,120.00 - $85,280.00, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. If so, the actual salary range may vary from the estimate provided. General responsibilities include but are not limited to the following * Working with, responding to, and taking direction from Senior Engineers, Project Managers, Managing Principals, Department Directors, and senior management * Performing various aspects of Electrical Engineering design, including Conceptual Studies, Program Requirements, Design Analysis, Calculations, Equipment selection and layout, and System selection and layout for building design, upgrades, and retrofits * Working in a multi-discipline design team supervised by senior engineers and project managers on projects of medium to large scope. Coordinating and communicating with other engineers and design team members * Meeting with clients as directed * Complying with the firm’s quality control policies and procedures * Learn and implement department and company standards * Preparing project programming, schematic designs, design development designs, and construction documents. * Providing electrical support services during the bidding process, such as preparing addenda, amendments, and responding to RFI’s * Providing electrical construction phase services including representing the firm on-site, answering RFI’s, reviewing shop drawings and preparing record drawings
