This approach supports the development of a strong and effective team dynamic within Engineering. Skills & Responsibilities: Design, develop, and review electrical systems including LV/MV/HV power distribution, substations, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, motors, VFDs, UPS, and emergency power systems. Support FEED, detailed engineering, and as-built documentation for greenfield and brownfield project. Review and approve vendor documents, drawings, datasheets, and technical deviations. Participate in technical bid evaluations and support procurement activities. Coordinate with process, mechanical, instrumentation, civil, and HSE teams to ensure integrated design solutions. Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, NEC, API, ATEX, IECEx, and client specifications. Prepare method statements, inspection & test plans (ITPs), and commissioning procedures. Troubleshoot electrical system issues, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions. Manage electrical technical queries (TQs), site instructions, and change requests. Ensure adherence to HSE policies, electrical safety standards, and permit-to-work systems. Interface with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and design reviews. Maintain electrical documentation, asset registers, and spare parts list. In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development. Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience: Relevant Electrical qualifications - Electrical BEng (master’s degree is also desirable). Working towards chartership is advantageous status is preferred. Proven experience working on detail engineering experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, & Petrochemical industry Any previous experience working in an Engineering preferably in the field of Refinery, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Fertilizers, Oil & Gas will be preferred. Good understanding of National, International Codes & Standards and Best Engineering Practices Knowledge of quality management system and procedures and project management/control procedures. Experience in using software tools such as ETAP. Communication: Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills. Responsibilities
