JOB REQUIREMENTS

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the technical processing of protection and control systems for power factor correction projects (FACTS / Synchronous Condenser).
  • You will develop conceptual solutions within an international team of experts and implement technical solutions
  • Your tasks will include the creation of design specifications and the project planning of hardware and software for station control technology
  • You will carry out functional, performance and customer acceptance tests at our test center in Forchheim
  • You will be responsible for commissioning the systems in Germany and abroad

Work Experience

Work Experience & Qualifications:

  • You have successfully completed a university degree in the field of electrical engineering / energy technology / automation technology
  • You have knowledge of synchronous condensers or FACTS
  • You have basic knowledge in the field of electrical power supply (medium and high voltage) and its secondary technology
  • Ideally, you have already worked with control, HMI and protection systems (e.g. SIPROTEC, Digsi, SICAM PAS, Win CC)
  • Knowledge of the application of IT security is desirable
  • Very good German and good written and spoken English skills are a matter of course for you
  • You are willing to travel worldwide
