An international mining house that is at the forefront of the extraction of coal is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to drive the delivery of upcoming projects for one their leading coal operations in the Bowen Basin.

YOUR NEW ROLE

You will manage small & large scale projects and assist with larger projects as required. This team manage a large capital portfolio, including a wide variety of projects, such as civil, environment, water, infrastructure, processing, and procurement. This team includes various backgrounds and skill sets, allowing for a diverse environment.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Managing the project management lifecycle, including well written, well structured, documentation
• Engage with project stakeholders to ensure alignment to business objectives
• Ensure ownership of projects, including stakeholder engagement, monthly KPI’s and various internal reporting
• Actively participate in Field Leadership programs
• Trouble shooting with maintenance teams
• Performing RCAS and defect elimination routines
• Creating, monitoring and optimising maintenance strategies
• Reporting on key equipment performance metrics
