About the Role Summer Internship is a temporary (~8 weeks) role, supporting the Product Development team. Reporting Line This positions reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager Your Role Assembly and testing of designs, including component kitting, soldering, and quality assurance. Use electrical test equipment to make measurements and troubleshoot boards. Create manufacturing and test documentation/procedures supporting tool build and test. Maintain appropriate project files, engineering drawing design, and parts list preparation in proper engineering format. Design and/or build cable harnesses and interconnect systems. Assist in the design and implementation of instrumentation and process control systems. Inventory management and implementation of operational enhancements. Qualifications (Required) In 1st year or 2nd year of a BS degree in Electrical Engineering Strong desire to acquire hands-on hardware experience in circuit design, test, and assembly Emerging proficiency with basic EE tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, signal generators, PCB/Schematic Software) and soldering Collaborative and excited to work as part of a team, ask questions, and share information to solve problems.
