Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Commissioning (Contractual Role) Location: Ahmedabad Employment Type: Contractual Experience: 5+ Years Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in commissioning of Electrical Panels, PLC Panels, and Instrumentation Systems. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and handover of electrical and control systems while ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Execute commissioning activities for Electrical Panels, PLC Panels, MCC Panels, PCC Panels, and Instrumentation Systems. Perform loop checking, I/O testing, functional testing, and troubleshooting of control systems. Coordinate with site teams, contractors, customers, and vendors during commissioning activities. Review electrical drawings, schematics, GA drawings, cable schedules, and instrument datasheets. Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Support installation verification, pre-commissioning, and system start-up activities. Prepare commissioning reports, punch-point lists, and project documentation. Assist in resolving electrical and instrumentation issues during project execution and handover. Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of commissioning milestones. Required Qualifications Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation commissioning. Hands-on experience in: Commissioning of Electrical Panels (MCC/PCC) PLC & Control Panels Instrumentation Systems Loop Checking & Calibration Testing & Troubleshooting Site Execution & Commissioning Preferred Skills Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, VFDs, Sensors, Transmitters, and Control Systems. Experience in Industrial Projects, Process Plants, HVAC, Water Treatment, Refrigeration, or Manufacturing projects. Ability to independently handle site commissioning activities. Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with electrical safety practices and commissioning procedures.
