JOB SUMMARY:

Master Systems is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the design, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of marine electrical systems for various types of vessels. This position requires in-depth knowledge of marine electrical standards, automation systems, and the ability to work independently on-site and in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Marine Engineering related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marine electrical systems or related industry.
  • Solid understanding of electrical schematics, PLCs, VFDs, and automation systems.
  • Experience with marine classification society rules and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in using electrical design software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with marine equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working in the GCC marine or offshore industry.
  • Certification in marine electrical systems or automation (e.g., Siemens, ABB, etc.).
  • Familiarity with hybrid/electric propulsion systems.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement marine electrical and automation systems.
  • Conduct electrical system installations, commissioning, inspections, and testing on marine vessels.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in control panels, switchboards, and electrical distribution systems.
  • Perform maintenance and repair of marine electrical and electronic systems, including navigation and communication equipment.
  • Ensure all work complies with international marine standards (IEC, ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s, etc.).
  • Collaborate with naval architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers on system integration.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and system diagrams.
  • Maintain compliance with HSE standards and company procedures during all engineering activities.
  • Provide technical support and after-sales service to clients as required.
