Overview We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the execution of project for a client in the pharmaceutical sector in the region of Brussels. Responsibilities Tasks: The role is for an Electrical Specialist supporting a major extension project due to the increased construction workload. The team needs an extra specialist who can immediately take ownership of several project packages, particularly during the construction and commissioning phases. Team info: The candidate will join a small core team of two electricians, acting as a supporting member of the team. They will also interact frequently with other stakeholders: internal teams, suppliers, subcontractors... Manage various packages, from design to construction follow-up and mechanical completion. Ensure quality on site, support subcontractors, and guide construction teams. Handle commissioning, protocols, and potentially FIT depending on the assigned packages. Coordinate with engineering partners, manage documentation, and ensure alignment with standards (GMP, EHS, safety, etc.). Provide technical expertise (low & medium voltage) and support for operational decisions. Work under high pressure as the shut down is planned for after the summer. Qualifications Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in relevant field. Client is flexible depending on the candidate’s hands‑on construction experience. !! Must have !! Strong experience in construction supervision and ability to ensure on‑site quality. Knowledge in low and medium voltage systems. Ability to deep‑dive into technical details quickly and operate autonomously. Strong communication skills with multiple stakeholders (manager, suppliers, subcontractors…). Fluency in French. Availability to start quickly. Nice to have: Experience in regulated environments (pharma not required but beneficial). Familiarity with GMP/GxP and EHS standards. Experience with EPC/EPCM models. Knowledge of clean rooms and obsolescence management. Broader understanding of multidisciplinary engineering and infrastructure. Work model: Hybrid, 3 days on‑site / 2 days remote BUT may shift to full on‑site depending on needs during the construction phase.
