Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Electrical Engineer specializing in Medium Voltage systems to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining medium voltage electrical systems for various projects throughout the region. Design and develop medium voltage electrical systems (1kV to 36kV) for industrial and commercial applications Perform electrical calculations and analysis to ensure system reliability and efficiency Create and review electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather project requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, contractors, and clients Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, standards, and utility requirements Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in existing medium voltage systems Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget constraints Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technological advancements in medium voltage systems Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum of 15 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically with medium voltage systems Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred Proficiency in electrical engineering principles and practices, with a focus on medium voltage systems Strong knowledge of power distribution systems and electrical equipment Experience with electrical design software, such as AutoCAD Electrical and ETAP Excellent ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong project management and coordination experience Knowledge of Saudi Arabian electrical codes and standards Familiarity with local utility requirements and regulations Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects Willingness to travel to project sites as needed Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
