Ellesmere Port – Full Time
We are recruiting for a Full Time Engineer based at our Ellesmere port site. As an Engineer, you will be providing effective maintenance, repair and service of plant, building and equipment. You will be working within a friendly and proactive team, ensuring the smooth and continued running of this fast-running plant.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out PPM and completing the appropriate paperwork and reports. You will also be carrying out fault finding, planned maintenance and reactive maintenance for the electrical plant as well as assisting the other team members when required or as directed from the Supervisor/Contract Manager.
You will also be responsible for completing electrical installations and upgrades on site, ensuring that all duties are carried out in accordance with both company and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate would hold a relevant electrical qualification i.e. City & Guilds Level 3. It is desired the ideal candidate would have experience in HV switching and holds 18th edition. You would also be capable of completing essential paperwork in an accurate and timely manner with a strong attention to detail. Knowledge in one or more of mechanical, automation, hydraulic, pneumatic or pressure systems is desirable
