JOB OPENING: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Location: Dubai, UAE
Experience: Minimum 10 Years
Certification: Dubai Municipality Approved
We are looking for a Electrical Engineer with a strong background in building services design to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience working in a design consultancy environment and be certified by Dubai Municipality for electrical design works.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design within a consultancy firm, particularly in the UAE.
  • Dubai Municipality certification for electrical design is mandatory.
  • Solid knowledge of UAE regulations, DEWA standards, and relevant codes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Dialux, and other electrical design tools.
  • Strong project coordination and communication skills.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Hotel, mixed-use, residential and high-rise building projects.
  • LEED or sustainable design knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of electrical systems for building projects, including lighting, power distribution, ELV, and fire alarm systems.
  • Ensure all designs comply with local authority regulations, codes, and international standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other consultants during all design phases.
  • Prepare and review electrical drawings, calculations, and specifications.
  • Oversee submissions to local authorities (DM, DEWA, Civil Defense, etc.) and ensure timely approvals.
  • Provide technical support during project execution and site inspections.
