About the Role
Bruce Power is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team supporting nuclear generation operations. The successful candidate will bring direct experience within Bruce Power projects and demonstrate expertise in transformers, high voltage systems, design, and power jumper applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support electrical engineering design, modification, and maintenance activities for nuclear station systems.
  • Provide technical expertise on transformers, high-voltage, and power jumpers.
  • Prepare, review, and stamp engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications in compliance with CSA, IEEE, and Bruce Power standards.
  • Conduct design reviews and ensure constructability, maintainability, and safety compliance.
  • Support troubleshooting of plant electrical systems and develop corrective action plans.
  • Interface with multi-disciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure adherence to nuclear safety, regulatory compliance, and Bruce Power’s engineering governance processes.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide professional technical guidance.

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Ontario (in good standing).
  • 5+ years of electrical engineering experience, with proven exposure to power systems, transformers, high voltage equipment, and jumper design.
  • Prior Bruce Power or CANDU nuclear experience is required.
