Description

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER / DESIGNER – CNC LASER SYSTEMS

Mundt & Associates designs and builds state-of-the-art laser machine tools used worldwide. We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer/Designer to take ownership of electrical system design for our complex multi-axis CNC laser platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or EEET)
  • 3+ years of electrical design experience with CNC/multi-axis systems
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical
  • Strong background in AC/DC power distribution and PLCs.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety codes and standards
  • Must be a US Citizen due to current contracts.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience with laser systems (Fiber, Picosecond, Femtosecond)
  • Programming knowledge (C, C#, G-Code)
  • PID control experience
  • Background in Ethernet/Modbus/Serial protocols, and motion control.

    Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
