Position Summary Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer supporting an Air Force acquisition mission at Eglin AFB, FL. The candidate will apply professional electronics engineering concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, techniques, materials, and equipment to support project development, execution, and advisory services, and resolve problems related to the design, acquisition, and sustaining of munitions items. Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to: Support product design, analysis, and testing across electro-technology applications including: Analog and digital circuits and systems analysis Digital signal processing (DSP) techniques and implementations EMI/EMC analysis Power supply evaluation Radiofrequency component analysis Microcircuits evaluation (FPGA, microprocessors, memory circuits) Radiation hardened electronics analysis and evaluation Perform electrical/electronic/computer engineering work supporting the acquisition, development, and sustainment of weapon systems, subsystems, and/or support equipment Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate complex projects involving electronic circuits, firmware/software, embedded processors, networks, motors, controls, power supplies, batteries, wiring/cabling, and circuit protection Support duties involved in research, development, testing, evaluation, operation, maintenance, and/or directing fabrication, manufacture, and installation of electronic devices or systems Qualifications Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Minimum Required Qualifications Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain an Active Secret clearance Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) in a related discipline from an ABET-accredited UniversityYears of Experience: 5 years of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications Education: Masters in a related discipline Years of Experience: 3 years of relevant experience Technical Skills Analog and digital circuits and systems analysis Digital signal processing (DSP) EMI/EMC Power supply evaluation RF component analysis Microcircuits evaluation (FPGA, microprocessors, memory circuits) Radiation hardened electronics analysis Embedded processors, firmware/software, and networks Weapon system acquisition, development, and sustainment support Interpersonal Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to coordinate and support complex engineering projects Ability to apply advanced engineering concepts to acquisition and sustainment challenges Additional Information Location: Eglin AFB, FL Travel: Travel may be required per the customer's discretion.
