Description
Coordinate and lead internal & outsourced development activities with manufacturing partners and suppliers in support of the worldwide manufacture of Inkjet products from NPI through end of lifecycle. Support Assurance of Supply part qualification activities to avoid or mitigate product shipment risks due to part availability issues. Lead initiatives to proactively identify customer impacting quality issues for Inkjet products in the field and factory and drive development of mitigation plans. Take cost out through Automation, Design influence, Manufacturing Overheads/ Line Tooling/ Test optimization, and Warranty reduction. Collaborate and communicate with Management, internal and outsourced development partners regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution. Fluent in English (Both written and spoken). Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering. Typically 1-5 years experience. New graduates are also welcome. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Basic understanding of material properties and hardware and electrical component design. Experience or understanding of appropriate engineering design tools and software packages. Proficiency in programming and/ or data visualization tools is a plus.
