Your responsibilities will include plant power distribution and controls engineering throughout the plant. This job is in Virginia. The company has an extremely generous compensation package which includes relocation and a bonus. Must have a heavy industrial background. Experience in primary metals, such as aluminum or steel, paper, lumber, concrete, automotive, mining would be a good fit. High and medium voltage power distribution, including protective relaying, transformers, and switchgear maintenance. Capital equipment maintenance or construction projects, including planning for shutdowns. Controls and automation projects, including Variable Frequency Drives, robotics, PLC’s.
