The Starlink team is seeking out the best-in-class professionals to maximize Starlink’s potential for communities and businesses around the globe. As an Electrical Engineer on this team, you will work with a group of elite engineers and specialists across multiple disciplines to design, build, and activate infrastructure that will enable SpaceX to achieve its long-term mission. This team is responsible for the delivery of large capital projects to various internal customer groups across the company. This position is based out of the Bastrop, Texas. RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate and grow with a multi-disciplinary infrastructure project team by performing power-specific engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities for a variety of critical and fast-paced company projects Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for manufacturing, industrial, and commercial type projects Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines through contract close-out Coordinate with electrical utility provider for design/engineering to ensure reliable power service to critical site infrastructure Interact with engineers, contractors, fabricators, and project stakeholders BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology 3+ years of professional experience with the design and/or build of commercial or industrial power systems PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of years of professional experience in a similar role with electrical and power distribution systems (
