OVERVIEW:

Responsible for managing assigned CAPEX projects from preparation through start-up. Works closely with Project Manager to maintain engineering coherence and deliver on project requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years in heavy industrial CAPEX project execution
• Understanding of ladder logic, HMI software, electrical circuits
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills

• Lead engineering activities during preparation phase to pass Conceptual Engineering and Project Definition gates
• Develop design criteria, project execution plans, management plans, risk analysis, and EHS compliance documents
• Draft work scopes per national and corporate standards
• Coordinate contractor bid process, RFIs, and bid tabulations
• Monitor and report project costs; create integrated schedules including outages
• Coordinate with production/maintenance during outages and construction
• Resolve construction and technical issues on-site
• Oversee execution, testing, commissioning, and ramp-up phases
• Participate in steering and start-up meetings
