Electrical Engineer Location: Henrico, VA Job Type: Direct Hire Salary: Starting at $90,000+ (based on experience) We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and support electrical systems related to power distribution, controls, and industrial applications. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working across engineering, manufacturing, and project teams. \n Key Responsibilities Design electrical systems for power distribution and control applications Develop electrical drawings, specifications, and bills of materials Support new product development and improve existing systems Ensure compliance with regulatory and design standards Provide engineering support to manufacturing and operations Collaborate with project teams from design through production Participate in project meetings and maintain project timelines Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) 5–7+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience Strong knowledge of power systems (3-phase, 480V, Delta vs. Wye) Experience with breaker sizing and motor protection systems Hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs (S7, TIA Portal, Step 7, ladder logic) Experience with relay logic and control systems (digital/analog I/O) Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical (must have practical experience) Strong problem-solving and communication skills U.S. Citizenship required (must be eligible to obtain clearance) Preferred Qualifications Experience with power distribution or infrastructure systems Background in electromechanical system integration Panel design and layout experience Familiarity with inverters, rectifiers, or power conditioning Experience supporting manufacturing or production environments What We’re Looking For Hands-on, self-driven engineer who can work independently and on a team Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineers, technicians, and operations Willing to be active on the production floor—not just behind a desk Motivated to contribute to long-term projects and product development \n
