Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Electrical Engineer (Roads O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of road operations and maintenance projects, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our transportation infrastructure. Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems for road infrastructure, including lighting, traffic signals, and power distribution networks Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify electrical issues and propose solutions Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems in road projects Manage and coordinate with contractors and suppliers for electrical installations and maintenance Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes and safety standards Participate in project planning and budgeting for electrical components of road O&M projects Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in existing road infrastructure Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and technicians Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in road electrical systems Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in road infrastructure projects Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices, particularly in road infrastructure and O&M Experience with road lighting systems, traffic signals, and other electrical components of road infrastructure Familiarity with project management tools and techniques In-depth understanding of electrical codes and safety standards Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Willingness to travel to project sites within Qatar as needed Additional Information
