We are seeking a qualified and experienced High Voltage Test Engineer to join our team, specializing in both primary and secondary systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, commissioning, and maintaining high voltage electrical equipment across substations, transmission networks, and industrial facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Living in Australia with an easy reach to ELLENBROOK PERTH
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in high voltage testing (primary and secondary systems).
  • Proficiency in using test equipment such as Omicron, Doble, and Megger.
  • Strong understanding of protection schemes and relay coordination.
  • Familiarity with Australian electrical standards (AS/NZS).
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to project sites
Responsibilities
  • Perform testing and commissioning of primary HV equipment (e.g., transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear).
  • Conduct secondary system testing, including protection relays, control systems, and SCADA interfaces.
  • Analyze test results and prepare detailed technical reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian standards and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with project teams, clients, and contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve faults in HV systems during commissioning and maintenance phases.
