5. Modeling & Simulation: Lead advanced modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) efforts to develop space protection architectures and alternative mission concepts.
6. Program Management Reviews: Support technical reviews, risk assessments, and system safety evaluations to ensure compliance with DoD standards and best practices.
7. Cyber & Security: Ensure cybersecurity best practices are integrated into system designs, in alignment with DoDI 8500.01 and classified DoD cyber directives.
8. Training & Mentorship: Provide on-the-job and classroom training to Government personnel, sharing expertise in electrical engineering, acquisition strategies, and system integration.
9. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with government agencies, FFRDCs, contractors, and mission partners to drive technical innovation and operational success.
10. Work Environment:
a. Work will be conducted at Government-approved locations (see list above), with potential for remote work (up to 20%) based on mission requirements.
b. Travel may be required (CONUS & OCONUS) for technical engagements, program reviews, and government meetings.
