Description

DESCRIPTION:

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for design, development, and implementation of electrical installations for various EPCm projects, particularly in the energy transition, industrial, and utility sectors. You will collaborate with an internal and/or external team of architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that the electrical systems meet the required standards of safety, functionality, and sustainability. You will adhere to applicable laws and regulations and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Design and calculate electrical installations, including lighting, grounding, distribution, cabling, and emergency power for buildings and industrial projects.
  • Create technical drawings and diagrams for electrical systems.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (such as mechanical engineering and civil engineering) to develop integrated solutions.
  • Provide specifications and technical documentation for quotations and tenders.
  • Supervise the installation process to ensure compliance with standards and quality requirements.
  • Ensure proper testing and commissioning of installations during project delivery.
  • Resolve technical issues and provide support to the execution team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • A completed HBO/WO degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in designing electrical installations.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, such as IEC and NEN standards and other relevant guidelines.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Intelec, Dialux, or similar tools. Knowledge of Revit and STABU (specifications) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within your team and in a multidisciplinary project team.
  • Proficiency in English language.
  • Proficiency in the Dutch language, or strong willingness to improve your Dutch language to proficiency level.
  • Proactive, problem-solving, and results-oriented.
