JOB SUMMARY:

Our client is a marine consultancy firm, currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the technical services team. The selected candidate will be responsible for electrical system installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting across marine and industrial applications. This role also involves providing technical support to customers and coordinating with shipyards and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and a high level of customer satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Additional certifications in electrical maintenance or safety (e.g., NEC, NFPA) are advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical service engineering or a similar technical role.
• Proven expertise in electrical diagnostics, maintenance and marine electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of wiring systems, motors, circuit boards and electrical schematics.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and testing equipment.
• Familiarity with control systems, hydraulics and electrical integration on marine vessels is a plus.
• Possesses strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and a proactive, customer-focused attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to carry electrical equipment and work in confined or elevated spaces.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally for site service work.
• Comfortable working in shipyards, onboard vessels and in varying weather conditions.
• Flexibility to respond to urgent service calls or after-hours requirements.
