Responsibilities

Job Summary: SEACORP is seeking a self-motivated Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting the U.S. Navy’s next-generation submarine technology. This is a high-impact opportunity to work on complex, mission-critical Non-Propulsion Engineering Systems (NPES)—from Electronic Warfare and Combat Systems to Sonar and External Communications.
As part of our team, you’ll help design and deliver Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and support Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT) for temporary installations across multiple submarine classes. We’re looking for someone who thrives on technical challenges, values clear communication, and enjoys cross-functional teamwork.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and draft end-to-end signal and submarine platform alteration drawings using CAD software.
  • Develop military-grade cable designs (copper and fiber) based on rigorous Navy standards.
  • Perform power system design and analysis (single and three-phase) for high-reliability installations.
  • Analyze and interpret existing Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs) to inform system upgrades.
  • Select appropriate mil-spec and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) materials and components.
  • Contribute to Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT) including EMI and power standard compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and logisticians to deliver on-time, field-ready solutions.
  • Take ownership of projects from planning to testing, with a focus on precision and performance.
