The Wise Seeker is looking for a highly qualified Electrical Engineer to join a leading company in the field of sustainable mobility and renewable energies.
Location: London, UK
-Profession: Engineer, electrical engineer or associated profiles.
-Experience: 6 years or more.
-Experience in renewable energy is valuable
Tasks
1. Assess technical solutions proposed for awarded projects.
2. Sign off on main equipment selected for construction projects.
3. Conduct and approve electrical calculations, including cable sizing and electrical protections.
4. Ensure designs adhere to British Standards regulations.
5. Review and approve medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) electrical designs.
6. Provide technical support to other departments, including commissioning, installation, and business development.
7. Identify opportunities to improve existing installation processes and develop new procedures as necessary.
8. Supervise and coordinate Design Engineers, offering support and guidance as needed.
Requirements
1. Background in electrical engineering.
2. Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative.
3. Effective multitasking skills to meet deadlines.
4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
5. Attention to detail in all tasks.
6. Creativity in proposing ideas and solutions.
7. Organizational skills and ability to work independently.
8. High level of IT competency, particularly in Microsoft Office suite.
Benefits
The schedule is as follows: flexible entry from 8 to 9 am and departure between 6 and 7 pm with an hour for lunch and a break of 15 minutes. Intensive workday on Fridays and July and August intensive workday also from 8 to 15h.
