Job Description We’re looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our growing Energy team in Aotearoa! Working with us means that you’ll bring your technical design capabilities to work on exciting and complex projects that are shaping the energy market across the ANZ region. We work with key clients in electrical distribution and transmission space and with opportunities to support our Australian Energy team, you’ll contribute to projects nationally and internally. Key Responsibilities: Detailed design of electrical networks. This could be in either Transmission or Distribution. Ensure engineering calculations, studies, and technical assessments are completed to a high standard to support substation development, asset upgrades and replacements, and distributed generation connections Developing and maintaining AutoCAD and Revit models for substation layouts, equipment arrangements, and associated building services. Project scoping, estimating and ability to support on-going project management and delivery. Collaborating in a team environment, while learning to work efficiently and autonomously on allocated tasks. Qualifications To be successful in this opportunity, you will have recent demonstrated experience in a similar electrical design role within the Energy industry in Aotearoa. In addition, you will also have: Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering (Washington Accord mandatory) Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in New Zealand Current full Driver’s License Passion for being part of a dynamic, growth-focused business Demonstrated experience in delivering overhead or underground distribution network designs Proficiency with using design programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, NEARA, PLS CADD or similar is essential. Effective communication skills with ability to work with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Ability to travel to site as and when needed.
