Job Description Job Title : Electrical Engineer - UAE National only Sector: Infrastructure / Rail / Industrial / Construction Projects Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Job Summary The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, reviewing, installing, and testing electrical systems for assigned projects. The role ensures compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and engineering best practices, while supporting project execution from planning through commissioning in coordination with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Support the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems. Review contract documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare electrical deliverables. Prepare BOQs, load calculations, single-line diagrams, and technical submittals. Coordinate with consultants, clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery. Conduct site inspections and support troubleshooting, corrective actions, and close-out. Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes and standards. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports and KPIs. Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource management activities. Support FAT, SAT, and system handover procedures. Identify risks related to electrical works and recommend mitigation measures. Ensure documentation accuracy and maintain updated as-built drawings. Support procurement activities and commercial/technical evaluation of electrical materials. Follow HSE policies and promote a safe working environment. Qualifications Experience Minimum 4 years of experience in Electrical Engineering within infrastructure, industrial, railway, or construction projects. Strong technical background in: Power distribution systems Control panels and LV/MV systems Cable routing and protection systems Testing & commissioning of electrical equipment Experience working in multicultural and international environments. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or relevant discipline). Professional certifications (e.g., Electrical Safety, LV/MV Systems) are an advantage. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
