About the role · Develop a thorough understanding of the overall project and effectively communicate such understanding to the applicable Project Team members under his supervision · Provide inputs for the production of project program, Project Document Management Plan (PDMP) and Design Management documentation · Ensure that all elements of the UGL physical designs are spacially coordinated by interfacing with the various discipline design team members · Ensure all design and construction complies strictly with AS/NZS 3000, AS 3013 and AS 4100. · Develop the containment support system and facilitate AS 3013 certifications. · Develop and design electrical equipment mounting brackets in accordance with AS 4100 for road and rail tunnel environment. · Ensure that engineering change notes (ECN’s) are registered, processed and maintained in accordance with the engineering change control procedures. About You Tertiary education in Electrical Engineering At least 4 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering experience (practical as well as design) Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally. Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands. Thorough understanding of Australian Standards AS/NZS 3000, AS 3013 and AS 4100. Must have an understanding of fire engineering process and experience with road or rail tunnel projects.
