Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a Electronics Engineer (hardware) to join our team in Espoo Finland or, in Danderyd Sweden where you will work at the forefront of advanced X-ray technology. The team is responsible for developing electronics designs for our world-leading photon-counting X-ray detectors.
This position requires fluency in English, as you will work both autonomously and in close collaboration with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Alongside your interest in technology and eagerness to learn as we continue to develop our high-tech solutions, this position offers an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills in the latest electronics technology.

What we’re looking for:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years experience in designing electronics.
  • Solid experience in HW designs, FPGA, CPUs, high speed digital buses and complex multilayer PCB stackups
  • Knowledge in EDA and schematic level simulation tools (Altium Designer / (PADS), LTSpice, etc.)
  • Knowledge in EMC / EMI / ESD
  • Experience in prototyping and rework
  • Ability in testing and measuring complex designs
  • Understanding of production, standards, testing and documentation processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Passion for technology and learning new skills.

Additional skills that could be helpful in this position:

  • Layout design skills (Altium designer)
  • Analog electronics skills
  • Firmware smoke testing

What you’ll be doing:

  • Development of complex electronics for photon counting x-ray detectors.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and brainstorming sessions.
  • Work closely with firmware and manufacturing teams to design and develop future products.
  • Ensure high product quality by participating in design reviews.
