Work Period: January 2026 - June 2026 Location & Schedule: This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with a minimum 4 days per week onsite in our Boston office. There is no relocation or housing assistance for this position. Electrical Engineering (Embedded) Co-Op WHAT YOU’LL DO Learn the end to end process by which Sonos designs high performance, Gigahertz SOC based, Embedded Systems Participate in the development of groundbreaking world class audio products Perform circuit analysis and simulation for high speed digital interconnect and low voltage power distribution. Test and validate new designs, debug and improve those designs as necessary Enhance the excellence of Sonos products through research and prototyping of new technologies SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES Basic Qualifications include: Highly motivated to learn, passionate about electronics, and a strong sense of ownership. Undergraduate or graduate student in Electrical Engineering taking or plan to take the following major courses: Circuit theory Digital Logic Design Computer Systems Engineering Computer Organization and Design Preferred Qualifications would include basic understanding of these Engineering Topics: Linux OS navigation and network configuration Embedded System Design (with a focus on Hardware) Synchronous Digital Electronics Concepts. Transmission line theory in high speed digital design PROGRAM QUALIFICATIONS Currently enrolled in a College or University with a preferred field of study in Electrical Engineering Available to participate in our full-time co-op program from January-June 2026 Ability to work out of our Boston office a minimum 4 days per week Applicants must be authorized to work for any US employer, both now and in the future. Responsibilities
The co-op will learn the end-to-end process of designing high-performance embedded systems and participate in the development of audio products. Responsibilities include circuit analysis, testing, validation, and enhancing products through research and prototyping.
