Job Summary: Ready to see how power, controls, and instrumentation come together in a real industrial environment? As an Electrical Engineering Intern at Centrus Energy, you’ll support the systems that power advanced uranium enrichment operations. This internship is designed for students who want hands-on exposure to industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and control technologies in a highly regulated manufacturing setting.   What You Will Do You’ll assist electrical engineers with system evaluations, control panel layouts, cable routing, and instrumentation support for plant equipment. You may help review single-line diagrams, support troubleshooting of motors and variable frequency drives, analyze electrical loads, assist with PLC or control system documentation, and contribute to design updates and technical reports. You’ll participate in safety and design reviews, support testing activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and compliant plant operations.   We’d Love to Hear from People With: * Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or graduate program in electrical engineering * Coursework in circuits, power systems, control systems, or industrial electronics * Basic understanding of electrical schematics and ladder logic * Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical or similar drafting tools * U.S. citizenship   A Successful Candidate Brings: * Experience with PLCs, instrumentation, or motor controls through coursework or labs * Exposure to power distribution concepts in industrial environments * Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset * Completion of at least two years of college-level electrical engineering study   In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
