Job Title: Electrical Engineering Intern - Summer 2026 Job Category: Intern/Co-op Time Type: Part time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Part-Time On-Call Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to support the design, integration, and testing of electrical systems associated with unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and related mission platforms. This internship provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced engineering and fabrication environment, working directly along side experienced engineers and technicians supporting real-world operational requirements. The ideal candidate is technically curious, detail-oriented, and eager to apply classroom knowledge to practical engineering challenges. Responsibilities: Assist in the design and documentation of wiring harnesses and electrical assemblies Support schematic updates and basic PCB-related tasks Participate in electrical integration of components into UAS and other platforms Conduct bench testing and assist with troubleshooting of electrical systems Support development of wiring diagrams, build instructions, and test procedures Assist with component identification, part research, and basic procurement support Help maintain engineering documentation and configuration control Provide support during system integration activities and lab operations Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and systems teams to resolve technical issues Qualifications: Required: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field Foundational understanding of circuit theory and electrical principles Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and basic schematics Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a hands-on lab environment Strong communication skills and willingness to learn Ability to obtain and maintain SECRET security clearance Desired: Experience with schematic capture or PCB design tools Familiarity with CAD software Exposure to embedded systems, power systems, or RF fundamentals Prior internship, lab, or project team experience - _________________________________________________________________________ What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
