Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Engineering Manager at SME Powered Services, this full-time Electrical Engineering Technician / Co-Ordinator role is based both in our Port Melbourne office & our project sites. You will play a key part in the operations of our electrical engineering division, contributing to the successful delivery of projects for our clients across a range of industries.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Assisting with the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems and infrastructure
  • Providing technical support and advice to project teams and clients
  • Coordinating the work of electrical contractors and technicians to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the required standards
  • Undertaking Testing and Commissioning of electrical systems
  • Documenting and maintaining records of all electrical work undertaken
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our electrical engineering processes and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical safety regulations and standards
