Job Title Electrical Engineering Technician III Compensation $75/hr Location Spring, TX Schedule Possible 7/7 or 14/14 – B2B 1 day / 1 night rotation Candidates must be open to all listed schedule options Target Start Date ASAP Scope Support field electrical maintenance work and electrical isolation (Lock Out Tag Out - LOTO) for lighting, air conditioning, and motor maintenance. This role typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Provide advanced electrical support in both field and operational environments, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and system optimization. Responsibilities include: Provide guidance to lower-level technicians on complex electrical issues Assemble, test, and modify electrical equipment, control systems, and circuitry per engineering specifications Diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures and perform preventive and corrective maintenance Record maintenance data and recommend equipment modifications or replacements Support electrical isolation processes (LOTO) in field operations Work across teams to support safe and efficient electrical operations Qualifications and experience: Previous experience in a closely related electrical or I&E role Applicable certifications or equivalent hands-on experience Strong communication skills with ability to clearly relay field conditions and solutions Team-oriented with ability to work cross-functionally without direct authority Ability to handle changing priorities, tight deadlines, and high workload environments Proficient with Microsoft Office Additional preferred experience: High Voltage (HV) Power Transmission and Distribution Electrical Dispatch Operations SCADA systems (Ignition, Wonderware, GE HMI, ABB Xenon, Aspentech Monarch) Seeq Analytics software Instrumentation, Controls, and Electrical (I&E) experience
