Description

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, single-line diagrams, and control system drawings.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Autodesk Vault, ElecDes (training support may be provided).
  • Minimum 2–5 years of relevant drafting/design experience in transmission or power systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and update AutoCAD station drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
  • Utilize Autodesk Vault to manage, store, and edit drawings.
  • Review and interpret technical information for creating accurate as-built documents.
  • Conduct drawing checks to ensure compliance with company’s design standards.
  • Prepare charts, graphs, and technical visuals for reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate with engineers, field staff, and drafting teams to collect and validate design information.
  • Support redline drawing submissions and liaise with the CADD Supervisor for drafting updates.
  • Provide regular progress updates to the Manager, Transmission Engineering Services.
