Description Summary: Responsible to support production on troubleshooting and repairing the electrical and electronic assemblies Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; others may be assigned: · Troubleshooting and repairing Test Boxes · Evaluate failed PCBs from incoming inspection, OEM and RTN · Troubleshooting and repairing PCBs · Build bed of nails fixture tests for production of new boards that require bed of nails · Assist in the resolution of issues with product that occur during the assembly or testing process. · Analyze data gathered and suggest solutions or alternative methods of proceeding. · Evaluate processes and assemblies and identify areas where improvements can be made. · Evaluate self work to ensure compliance with work instructions and standards · Provide technical expertise or support related to manufacturing. · Intermediate use of Microsoft Outlook, and Excel. · Intermediate use of visual MRP system · Intermediate use of Microsoft Word · Keep work area clean and orderly · Other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Associates degree in Pre-engineering or Electronics technology, or 1 year of relevant electronics experience and/or training.
Responsibilities
The Electrical Engineering Test Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic assemblies, including Test Boxes and PCBs. They also assist in resolving issues during the assembly or testing process and suggest improvements based on data analysis.
