In this role, you will inspire and guide the next generation of engineers, sharing your expertise and industry knowledge to develop their skills, knowledge, and behaviours. No two days are the same, offering a dynamic and rewarding work environment. The role is practical, workshop-based environment.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certification in 2391 and 18th Edition (preferred but not essential).
  • Assessor and teaching qualifications (not essential as full training will be provided).
    If you don’t already have assessor or teaching qualifications, don’t worry! We’ll support your journey to becoming a qualified instructor through a structured teacher training program and guidance from our dedicated Teaching & Learning team.
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Electrical Instructor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Promoting and supporting apprenticeships.
  • Training young people through engineering study and apprenticeship programs.
  • Delivering regulated qualifications (comprehensive training and support will be provided).
  • Using personal and industry experience to guide learners to achieve their full potential

To succeed in this role, you will need

  • Experience in electrical or multi-skilled maintenance engineering.
  • A strong understanding of Health & Safety practices and procedures.
  • A minimum of a Level 3 Engineering qualification.
  • Excellent interpersonal and computer skills.
  • A passion for teaching, empowering learners, and sharing personal and professional experiences
