Job Description Turner & Townsend is seeking a motivated Electrical Estimator to support our growing Arizona team. This role will contribute to the delivery of high-quality cost management services across a diverse portfolio of commercial, data center, industrial, high-tech, and manufacturing projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in electrical estimating who is looking to grow their career within a collaborative and dynamic environment. Experience in mechanical and plumbing (MEP) estimating is a plus. Responsibilities: Assist in preparing accurate and detailed electrical cost estimates at various stages of design and construction. Support the development of cost plans, budgets, and benchmarking data. Contribute to conceptual and schematic design estimates, as well as detailed quantity take-offs. Participate in procurement activities including bid analysis and contractor evaluations. Assist in preparing tender documentation and contract packages. Monitor and report on project costs, identifying variances and supporting change management processes. Support the preparation of monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts. Collaborate with project teams, clients, and contractors to ensure alignment on cost expectations. Participate in value engineering and life cycle costing exercises. Maintain and update cost databases and estimating tools. Support internal initiatives to improve estimating processes, templates, and best practices. Stay current with industry trends, pricing, and construction methods. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable. Qualifications A minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical estimating, cost consulting, or quantity surveying. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related technical field. Working knowledge of electrical systems in commercial, industrial, or mission-critical environments. Familiarity with MEP systems and their integration in building projects is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software (e.g., CostX, WinEst, Bluebeam, or similar). Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of construction procurement methods and project delivery models. Eagerness to learn and grow within a global consultancy environment.
