ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR / COST MANAGER

Location: Remote or Hybrid
Company: Magnum Electric
Salary: $80,000 – $125,000 per year (DOE) + Incentives

Magnum Electric is a leading electrical contractor specializing in large-scale commercial projects across the U.S. With a strong focus on excellence, innovation, and client satisfaction, we are seeking a seasoned Electrical Estimator/Cost Manager to join our growing team. This role can be performed fully remotely or in a hybrid arrangement depending on the candidate’s location and preference.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a highly experienced Electrical Estimator/Cost Manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience estimating large-scale commercial projects. Candidates with data center estimating experience are strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Accubid and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of experience in electrical estimating for large-scale commercial projects
  • Data center estimating experience is a plus
  • Accubid software experience is required
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for commercial construction projects
  • Develop, manage, and track change orders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate closely with field staff and Project Managers to coordinate project details
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive project cost estimates
  • Participate in value engineering and cost control strategies
